Among my APRS devices, LILYGO Meshtastic T-Beam ESP32 LoRa 433 MHz has been added. It works as a tracker with the callsign OM7DD-7. I use a Heltec tracker in my car and it has proven itself quite well, but for hiking I chose this option. This tracker is a little more expensive than the Heltec, but it has a much larger display and power supply directly on the board. Another advantage is that it also has a GPS receiver.
The tracker received software from Ricardo Guzman, which I slightly modified and works really well. In addition, the entire board has a battery slot on the back, so it is very convenient to use. For power supply, I chose a Cityork battery in the 18650 version, it even has a slot for a USB-C connector on one side, so charging is a little easier.
The battery connector on the Lilygo board is a little smaller, so the battery does not fit there at all. I solved it by aligning the clamps and not pushing the battery completely into the battery slot. The battery holds there quite tightly. This is probably the only thing I would criticize this board for. The tracker is currently being tested and I’m looking forward to the results.

UPDATE: The tracker received a temperature sensor, the testing can begin.
